My Little brother, Brian lived for 1950's Rock and Roll.
We thats me Gillian, Stan(brother) and Angela(sister)all used to go to a club in Warrington called
the Sacred Heart were we were all members of The Warrington Rock and Roll Society. We used to dress
up in 1950's circle skirts and pettiecoats and the men used to be in drape jackets and drainpipe
trousers and we would dance the night away to all the 50's music.

Brian was also an accomplished artist and he did calligraphy, dancing was also a passion which he
won medals for, all self taught. He could play the drums and guitar.

After suffering with polycystic kidney and eventually renal failure, he had a successful kidney
transplant in 1995. He got married a few months after his transplant and had two children. Then
August 2001 we went out to celebrate his 40th birthday. Six weeks later he died of cancer which
nobody knew he had.

Seeing this just made me realise how long ago it was Bri left us . It seems now so many of the old crew go to soon and that can honestly be said for Brian he was one of the good guys . Still find myself talking of those who have gone already and always think of Bri with a smile , it just seems that bit harder to smile every year as someone else goes . So long Brian I hope you and the rest of the guys are having a good time up there .

So much time has gone by since you left us Bri, but it still only seems like yesterday. So many happy memories of Boppin n Jivin' watching Rock n Roll Bands and havin a few beers and a laugh together.

You were one of the originals mate and very sadly missed.

Never to be forgotten.

No one knows the grief we share
when the family meet and you're not there
those special years will never return
but the love in our hearts will always burn
you will walk with us forever
until the chain links again.
God Bless xx
